Cleveland Browns
Welcome To The Unofficial Cleveland Browns Blog
Just to let everyone know, I am not an official Cleveland Browns reporter or anything. I am just a fan who wants to put my two cents in on what I believe is going on with the Browns and what I believe they should do in upcoming games, drafts, free agency, etc. Hope you enjoy this blog and feel free to put your two cents in also.

Browns Escape With A Win
Even though my prediction score was off by 3, the Browns still came away with a win. I was very impressed with Ogbannoya's performance along with McCoy's performance. I guarantee if you are a Browns fan and Cleveland resident, you definitely remember the 2001 beer bottle incident. I believe that may have just happened again if the Browns ended up losing. There was a bad call ruling Dawson's kick no good. This play was not able to be reviewed and could have easily costed Cleveland the game. Fortunately, they won and go to a Cincinnati to face the red hot Bengals in the Battle of Ohio.

What To Do With The Two 1st Round Draft Picks
The Browns have two 1st round picks in this years draft. Since the Browns are building off the draft, it's obvious their team needs will come from the draft.
Team needs:
WR,RB,OLB,OL,CB
Wide Receiver- The Browns are in need of a deep threat receiver for Colt McCoy to throw to.
Running Back- Considering Hillis is holding out and Hardesty is always injured, picking up a running back in the draft would be nice.
Outside Linebacker- The linebacker position is in serious need of more depth, even if our defense is doing great.
Offensive Lineman- McCoy needs more time in the pocket. He has been getting hit too much for a QB.
Cornerback- Sheldon Brown is getting too old for a team that is rebuilding, so Joe Haden will need a complimentary corner.
My Ideal 1st 2 Picks:
Team needs:
WR,RB,OLB,OL,CB

My Ideal 1st 2 Picks:
- Michael Floyd WR, Notre Dame- Has excellent speed and size
- Keenan Robinson OLB, Texas- Has good size and high potential
Realistic 1st 2 Picks:
- Zach Brown OLB, North Carolina- Top OLB in this years draft. Holmgren & Heckert will most likely go defense for the first 2 picks again just like the past 2 years.
- Brandon Jenkins DE/OLB, Florida State- Good explosive athlete with speed.

Preview: Week 11 Jacksonville Jaguars at Cleveland Browns
This week the Browns(3-6) face the Jaguars(3-6) at home. The Browns look to put an end to their 3-game losing streak with a win against the struggling Jaguars. Hillis and Ward are already ruled out for this game. The Browns will need to stop Maurice Jones-Drew if they want to win this game. The Jaguars are 4th in the league right now for overall defense right now. The Browns are 1st overall in pass defense. This is winnable game for the Browns, but not an easy win. I hope to see more trickery from Shurmur's offense but that it not likely. The Browns will most definitely stop the Jaguars passing game considering they lack big threats in their receiving corps and having a rookie QB starting in Blaine Gabbert.
Key to the game:
Key to the game:
- Stop Maurice Jones-Drew
- Get the offense in a groove
- limit mistakes
- Give Cribbs & Little the ball
Prediction:
Browns:17
Jaguars:10
Other news:
Hardesty has a chance to play this week. He has missed the last 2 weeks with a calf injury.
